There's nowhere quite like central London on a sunny day and we had a great time visiting the bars and pubs of the capital and enjoying the relaxed summery vibe of the city on a Friday night.īy some miracle, I woke up on Saturday morning hangover free. After checking into the hotel, we got changed quickly and headed out to the South Bank. London was enjoying a heatwave and the long train journey and beautiful weather had put us in the mood for a few alfresco drinks. We'd splashed out on a really nice place on the south bank. Our train from Yorkshire arrived at Kings Cross on Friday afternoon and we made our way straight to the hotel. We'd both had a tough few weeks at work and the weekend was a welcome chance for us to unwind and have some fun.
